In 1999, singer songwriter Paul spent a number of months working in the city of Cincinnati in Ohio, USA.
During the evenings, Paul would venture out and visit the city's bars and take part in its live music scene.The song ended up being a metaphor for looking back to a time of no responsibilities and freedom, maybe everyone has their own 'Cincinnati Skies'?
